Belle Village Dress I

I finished this costume in September 2008, but had yet to take a single picture of it. Eventually I would like to try and do an actual photoshoot with this costume, but I might have to wait until the weather is a little more stable.

The bodice pattern was draped by me on the dress dummy. The skirt and petticoat were made of giant circle skirts (I wanted to be able to get a nice spin out of this dress!). The bow is her hair bow, and is about 3"x6". The apron was the easiest part of this costume: a rectangle with a waistband. The shirt was not made by me.

It is made out of blue and white broadcloth, with pre-made white trim on the petticoat (I can't remember what kind of material). The actual blue colour is slightly more grey toned in real life, the camera's flash brightened it up a little.
