This is my first mask. It started out as a cheap (and broken) plastic mask. I covered it with paper mache and then lightly sanded it. It make the raised parts I put pieces of string which I then covered in paper mache. I don't think I'll be using that technique again. I then painted it with a blue paint, and sponged on gold paint over top with a cheesecloth. I still want to add some ribbons and feathers, but I haven't got around to buying any yet.
